Another year and here I sit planning another trip. I could think of no other place to be planning a trip to the BWCAW then Paddle Planners. This year it will be a 5 day trip for 4 to Poplar Lake to Gaskin and back. Edited by user Monday, January 21, 2019 10:48:40 AM(UTC)

58 degrees here in eastern Iowa today. .7 in rain. Feels more like mid April than January.

I guess this seems as good as a spot as any to confess. I may or may not have spent 6 hours on paddle planner and bwcawild today...
Problem? I don't have a problem. Haha! This is that bad time of year when we are close to canoe season, but not quite there yet. Lots and lots of trip reminiscing today, and planning a few other hypothetical trips if I ever get the time. I am sure ya'll can relate.

I'm still here. Hoping to get to the BW in September if my Lyme disease treatment proves effective. If not, I'll wait. It's been 3 years since my last trip and I'm determined to get back up there. Meanwhile I hang around paddling sites because, well, I don't have to explain it here. You know.
