Thanks: 2 times

I would like to dehydrate beef stroganoff- which I put sour cream in it. I was hoping to avoid buying sour cream powder. I can't really find my answer on google. People in general say to avoid dehydrating cheese, eggs and other dairy, but I've not had issues with dehydrating my breakfast recipe with cheese and egg in it- it's delicious. I'm trying to determine if it's dangerous to dehydrate sour cream in a meal or maybe it's a taste preference- I certainly do not want to make anyone sick on the trip.

Thanks for any help!

I think it will be fine. Powdered sour cream is readily available.
