This is a really nice site. It has a little beach to land a canoe without any rocks in the way, or just come up on the rocky exposure. With the open rocks, winds will keep the bugs down. The kitchen has a nice view back along Gabbro. There are many nice tent areas fairly flat and w/out rocks or tree roots to lessen your sleeping experience. The toilet is a bit more open than many other sites and has an upgraded lid fiberglass cover. Overall a very nice site.

This was a beautiful spot with a great view and a nice amount of solitude for Gabbro. The shoreline is rocky with a small beach that made both a perfect landing and swimming spot. Nearby islands and rockwalls make for impressive scenery. Had some luck fishing in the area.

Small, sandy landing area - or you can use the flat rocks out in front of the site. Kitchen has a nice view. There were more tent pads than I expected. At first glance, it looked like you could only fit one. Upon further investigation, there were more spots. I think 3-4 tents could fit in the site. Nothing really stood out to me about the site, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.
