Alerts can be received via email and/or text message. Permit alerts are only available to Map Enthusiast and higher members. Map Enthusiasts can set up one alert, Expedition Leaders five alerts, and Outfitters an unlimited number.

Permit alerts are not available to free memberships. You will receive alerts only while your membership is active. Permits are checked every 30 minutes. Reservations could change between the time that permits are checked and alerts are received.
