It would be nice if there was an advanced setting where you could set a distance threshold that would determine which portage trip setting is used in calculating distance/time. Eg. when my wife and I are on a trip, we usually double carry any portage that is less than 200 meters, but if its more than 200 meters we single carry. Idea being, the time spent getting our gear setup to do a single carry is somewhat lost for those short portages when we could have had one trip done already, which has the added benefit of decreasing overall exertion. 

 

I'm a new member, and so far i am in love with this site. It is going to help so much with trip planning. Thank you guys so much for creating a great tool.
