We added a "Guides" section that will eventually replace the Wiki (which hasn't been very popular). Just some of the things we plan on adding:

• Gear - searching for gear and prices from select stores, coupons, and gear reviews by members
• Routes - a route database that you'll be able to search by number of days, difficulty, fishing, and other factors. It will contain descriptions from Paddle Planner editors and members about the route and what to expect. It will be a good place to start looking at places to go.
• Beginner's Guide - will answer the question "How do I start planning a canoe trip?"
• Youth Canoe Trips - will address the unique challenges in planning a youth group canoe trip such as a Boy Scout troop.

So far we have only added some search functionality for shopping for gear - Gear Search and Coupons & Codes. Hopefully these are useful to you as you start shopping for gear for your upcoming trips.
