Hi

I'm looking at routes in Quetico for next August. We're planning on headed up the Man Chain for fishing and relaxing. But I also like to explore. I see a river route from Blackstone lake to Saganagons that goes North of Slate lake. looks like three portages of 30, 39, and 90 rods.Has anybody ever tried this route? Is there enough water in August to get through? Is there any camping in case we want to stop.

Any and all information would be appreciated.

Thanks

I went through there a few years back. Don’t remember a lot about it. I stayed in a nice camp site on the island on Other Man. Some nice high bluffs there. Stayed on a not so good of a site on the island on Emerald.

Cool, what time of year was it? Were you floating most of the way?
