I added texting support for permit alerts. If you want to receive a text message in addition to an email with your permit alerts, go to the My Profile page. You can access the My Profile page by clicking on "Welcome, [your name]!" in the upper right corner (on small screens, it is just a small icon of a head) and clicking on My Profile in the menu.

It is very new, so I cannot be 100% sure that it is working 100%, but my tests appear to work. I am in the process of registering the phone numbers with the carriers so it does not get marked as spam. However, until that process is complete, I cannot be sure that all text messages will be received. If it is any consolation, I received all of my messages, and nothing was marked as spam, so I am hoping it works for everyone.
