The time shown for portaging is that for making two trips? or just one with both canoe and gear?

Unless you change it, the default is set at 3 trips across a portage. My group chooses to single portage. It puts more of a load on each member but it's the time and distance you save by single portaging.

Canoer97... to be clear, the default is set at double portaging. It lists 3 trips as you will carry once, walk back, and carry again.
