Several people requested the ability to hide the portage labels. By default, when you zoom in on the map, the portage lengths are shown. You now have the ability to hide these labels if you think it makes it look too cluttered.

First, make sure you are logged into the website (otherwise the option will not appear). Then go to Settings, Other Options (might have to scroll down a little to see it). The second checkbox says "Hide Portage Labels." Check this to have the labels hidden. You can still see the lengths by hovering over the portage. This option is saved to your account, so it will be loaded on whichever computer or map you are using.
