Hey,

Planning a spring trip down the Tim River to Rosebary Lake and back. Just wondering whether a GPS is necessary for this stretch of river?

Any information is appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

I just joined this site today and saw your post. I did that trip last year and am doing it as part of a longer trip this year.

If you can read a map, you should be fine. But if you have a GPS, bring it. The river winds a lot and you can head the wrong way on the way out of Tim Lake. You won't get lost but you'll waste a bit of time.

Good luck.
