I am planning a trip to the Boundary Waters off the Gunflint Trail.  We will have three vehicles coming from different directions that will share the same route past Duluth.  Does anyone know of a Park & Ride or other parking area where we could park for a few days so we don't have to take all three vehicles all the way from Duluth to the BWCA?

Some have used the airport. Not free but inexpensive.

There is a small Park and Ride lot on Martin and Lavaque, but I don't know if it is meant for this sort of thing. I have not been able to find out much about it (other than driving by it frequently).

The airport has changed - now $78/wk.

Parking at the DECC is much more feasible. $5 per day.
