For those vaccinated against COVID, the border is in the process of opening. Good news for those of us who would like to paddle in Ontario. https://www.politico.com/news/2021/07/19/canada-reopen-border-500158 My plan is too canoe is the SE corning of Wabakimi Provincial Park right after Labor Day in September. Assuming this is the case, I'll give up my 9-7 Cross Bay Lake permit. Hope to see a woodland caribou and catch some pickerel (that's Canadian for walleye). Interested in Wabakimi?
