Just making conversation lol. Wondering if anyone owns these canoes. They look really nice and seem to be comparable to Swift. I know Swift is the go-to canoe for YouTubers but can't really find any info or videos on the Rheaume canoe.

Swift are the go-to canoes for those of you "out east." Here in the midwest, our three choices are typically Wenonah, Northstar, and Souris River.

I have never heard of Rheaume. Like you, I tried to find something online. I found a canoe retailer in NY that is selling them for the first time. I also found a Reddit review that seems a little suspicious to me - the original poster asked if anyone had tested them and then provided his own review.  Granted, the original post and the review were 10 months apart, so I guess it is plausible.

I also found one other explanation on MyCCR. They have made canoes for other brands (i.e. Langford) for many years and just started making them under their own name. I'm not familiar with Langford, though, so that doesn't help me.

Finally took the dive and ordered a Rheaume canoe! Given the price, I think this would be my mid-life crisis purchase lol. Who would have thought picking the right canoe (for me) would be so difficult? I ended up going with the 16-foot Explorer. The primary reason is for photography and fishing in those remote spots that are hard to get to. Family cottage renting with my wife and canoe camping. Hopefully, I'm confident I made the right choice
