Of course, I am here! I am planning on at least three Boundary Waters trips - solo, scout troop, and kids' trip with some friends. I am also hoping to take my oldest son to the Quetico for the first time. Maybe a couple of other trips, too.

Present and accounted for. About half-planned for a long (for me) northern WI trip, plus another week in/out through EP55 and a long BWCA weekend at some point. Maybe I'll finally take a look around the CNNF, too. :)

Whoever you are, OP, I'm here to tell you I just posted in the BWCA group on facebook telling you are a capeless hero, my friend. I came here to give the same tribute in the message board when I saw this post and had to let you know! Thanks for your diligence! -Caitlin

UPBoy (Richard Pierson) is here for another year. The big news from 2021 is we have moved from Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Stacy, MN and now live in a log house on Fawn Lake. We are loving our new house and state but most of all, we love living near our grandkids. Two 2022 trips planned so far: The first one is our family trip over the Memorial Day weekend with 3 of the 7 grandkids. We are looking for a Wood Lake entry point. The trip in August is our annual "guy" trip and we do not have an entry point picked out yet. I'm looking for some fellow trip partners in this area to take more trips so if you are interested give me a ping.

Planning on a first ever trip to WCPP this year. I'm curious to see how it goes. Sounds like a very different area with more regular fires and also the fly-in camps but yet way more overall solitude. Should make for an interesting combination. Assuming it all comes off I'll be sure to post pics and reviews here.

I've got a trip planned for each month! Except October....driving the campervan to CA for a wedding. Hopefully, we'll get all our desired entry points for our 5 trips ranging from #4 to #55.

i'm here as a newbie. Just joined over the winter. Planning our second trip into BW for 10 days out of Mudro. Missed last year and not because of the fires! Though the entire area was closed for our permit date so I wouldn't have gone anyway. This is my second trip to there. First time was 2020 for 7 days to SAK. We all agreed at that time that 7 days is not enough! Thanks

I'm here. Planning another another trip in June with my father (80) and son. We have been enjoying these 3 generation trips for the past 12 yrs but have to make them a little easier each year to ensure all have a great time. Maybe someday I can convince wife and daughter to come. LOL. Always a good trip with family.

Checking in! 74 days until my first trip...can hardly wait! Taking a friend who is a semi-pro fisherman up for the opener. He's a BWCA newbie and very excited for a wilderness experience. Lot different fishing from a canoe than a decked-out bass boat.

Just remember that with the right canoe and a little ingenuity... https://d1kmh288bwnvkn.cloudfront.net/14815-amateurhour-853841.jpg

A little late to party here this year, but I'm still around. 2 trips in the works for 2022, one with a friend and the other with my brother and my 2 boys. It warms my heart to hear my boys (ages 6 & 9) still talking about the trip we took last summer and asking about when we will get to go again.
