I have used my iPhone for many trips for GPS and it has been fine, albeit a little cumbersome. I just bought an Apple Watch 7 and I know it works with Gaia but would love to hear from someone who uses that combo in the backcountry. I love the idea of just looking at my wrist, compared to keeping my phone in a convenient place. Any thoughts out there?
