Apparently, the Canadian government has "paused" issuing new RABC permits. I heard this bit on the news this morning:

I read that on the Paddle and Portage website last week. I hope it is just temporary. Losing the program would be a big blow to a lot of people.

Is there any new news on the RABC program reinstatement ?

Or, is it possible to show my passport at the Canadian station on Basswood Lake. ( entry point Moose Lake )

No change as of a day or two ago. Pretty sure no to park rangers checking passport. Totally different parts of differentgovernments. Go north.
