A Hands-on Course in Wilderness Navigation

Young and old, beginners and experienced, we can all brush up on our navigation skills. In this hands-on course we’ll cover various topics related to arriving safely at your destination, including: how to make a reasonable travel plan, practicing with map and compass, translating a map to the landscape, and using modern technology to aid in navigation. Some compasses will be available, but bring one if you’re able.
Ben has 20 years of canoeing experience and is the founder of PaddlePlanner.com. He loves teaching and sharing his passion with others.
