Very different, poor landing (you have to get into water to get out and canoes need to be tied or hauled up on shore) but there’s a nice flat grassy area above the rocky landing suitable for several canoes. Pretty long uphill hike from landing to site. Very, very open and sunny up on a hill. Grassy with room for several tents. Nice fire ring, decent sitting logs and some rocks set up for cooking. No view of Perch 1. No trails nearby but very short paddle to portage / hiking trailhead which has nice swimming beach as well.
