Canoe landing and eventual storage are the chink in the armor of this very nice site. A 10'-tiered rock shelf provides an excellent elevated view of the lake and the tiers offer idyllic spots to lounge and catch a breeze while looking over the lake. While there are several mature cedars wonderfully garnishing the perimeter of camp, the fire grate area is somewhat open & exposed. There are several nice tent pads, some with grass. The openness of the nearby surrounding forest provides ample easy explorations from camp & firewood gathering. The large birch tree is a scenic shady bonus.

Pleasant peninsula site across lake from the island chain. Nice straight rock ledge allows dropping packs right into canoe, although it is exposed to South or East winds. Canoes have to be hauled up into the smallish clearing. It is sunny and open to breezes. The kitchen is right above the water, and is exposed to a south wind. The fire grate is well fortified though, and there is 3 log seating that is in good shape. One log has been hand-hewn level ,with notches balanced on rock. There are enough good tent pads for a bigger group. Nice views across lake.

This is a great summer campsite. The site doesn't have much shade during the day, but there are 4 different places to chill down by the water. It was 92 degrees and we stayed very comfortable sitting in our chairs in the H2O under the shade of a beautiful Birch Tree. Excellent swimming site. Great views of Perent Lake.
