Stayed here for two nights. Not a bad site. There are a few tent pads none of which seemed very level but were close. Logs by fire pit to sit on. Landing is mostly sandy and worked out fine. It took some looking to find the latrine which is in the depression down the path to the right if you are facing away from the lake. The ridge behind the site does seem to provide some cover from any wind from the west. The mosquitos were very bad while we were there possibly due to an overly wet year or perhaps a lack of breeze. I would stay here again. Solid four stars.

Private site on a lesser used lake. This is one of the few sites in the park that only has one campsite instead of two. Evergreens and maples. One large tent pad is slightly slanted, but it isn't bad. Another small tent pad is on a little rounded hill, but again isn't bad. Large clearing around the grate that includes the tent pads. The landing is a narrow sandy spot.

We really liked this site. Big beautiful camp area with a couple solid tent pads. Easy landing for the canoe.

Really enjoyed staying at this site -- like Robin Hood's camp in a fairytale forest. Wide open without much understory beneath tall, old trees. Behind a ridge, protected from the high winds we got. Landing is pretty good for swimming and fishing. Could sometimes hear motors from Crooked or cars on the road.
