Miserable narrow rocky landing. A sliver of a trail leads up to the campsite proper where there are actually a couple of reasonably large grassy tent pads. However, both are noticeably sloped. You might be able to squeeze a third tent in here but at the cost of eliminating any semi-convenient canoe storage. The fire grate area is actually not too bad as it has a couple of sitting logs, but the overgrown brushy feel of the place that affords no view of the lake leaves a lot to be desired. Top notch latrine & there are 2 separate tiny sandy beaches nearby the river for swimming.

Site is not closed--fire grate still present and latrine is new style complete with lid. Landing is shallow on small rocks. Someone built a small rock pier to access deeper water for unloading. Clearing is tiny and would be mostly occupied by hauled up canoes and tents. Both tent pads are significantly slanted. Two log kitchen is in alcove at side of clearing and grate is well fortified against south wind. This site is mostly useful if you need early access for trip down Perent River, or if all others are occupied.
