Nice flat landing area, but will likely need to get wet for a good landing. Firegrate area doesn't have a lot of seating around it, but coming from La Croix on the short portage, bringing chairs helps. plenty of hammock options. Tent sites on top of the rock and up the hill from firegrate in great shape. Third doable tentsite also up the hill could fit a 2 person tent if needed. Main downside is lack of flat areas for stove cooking.

Landing is nice if you are wet footing. It would be hard to do and keep your feet dry, though. Two nice tent pads. One large tent pad up on top of the rock. The other nice tent pad is on the small side. The last tent pad is really, really small, but you could put a solo tent there. Nice view of the lake, especially from on top of the rock. No benches around the kitchen. We had a south wind when we were there, and it was very exposed.

Very nice landing on the north shore. Small firegrate area is near the lake & is canopied by some large pines. Best tent pads are back aways. Nice view to the east.
