Head for that LARGE WHITE PINE on the north end of Phoebe. Don't let the landing deter you from checking this site out. It's large and open- on the top of the bluff under that trees' branches. Enough room for a 12x12 Nemo Bugout and 3 2-man tents plus a hammock or two. Firewood can be found everywhere. Enough Phoebe keepers nearby for a fish fry.

Nice big site. Plenty of space. The landing is not great. The site sits up and back from the lake so there are no good views of the lake. If there was a view, it would be a 4-star site.

A decent site with a LARGE white pine tree that has to be several hundred years old. Open campsite at the top of a hill that is well shielded from a southerly wind and has a good tree cover from the sun. Bugs were not too bad when we were there but we also had a decent breeze that kept them at bay until the evening.
A very rocky landing and not really a good swimming beach, but we were still able to get into the water to cool down.
