Wide open landing and fire grate area. Fire grate sits right near the water which makes for nice views though it is a bit low-lying. Everything back behind the fire grate however was very brushy with multiple trees down, including one giant one across the latrine path which made trips to the toilet a very unpleasant chore of bushwhacking. Ok shade if you can find a spot that isn’t too brushy, ok spots for hammocks and tents. I ended up vacating this site for the southern one due to all the brush, and much preferred the southern site for its fire grate view and openness.

Rock landing. Not much shade. Benches near fire pit face inland, not water, still the better site on this lake

Actually thought this was an excellent site. I was a little worried based on the other reviews but it must have been cleaned up since then. Good landing, good view, etc. Caught some nice walleye and smallmouth in the northwest bay of this lake.

This is a small and fairly overgrown site. The grill area was unique. There is a large rock ledge you can use for meal prep and eating. The rock landing was nice to sunbathe and fish off of.

Did not stay at this site but checked it out to confirm it still exists. Appears to be a usable site, but the other is definitely the better one on this lake. Just guessing at the rating based on how overgrown it looked.
