Stopped here for lunch. Beautiful site with nice firepit seating (even if not facing the lake), tons of hammock and tarp options. Didn't fully explore during lunch stop so not sure about tent pad situation. Pretty good landing. Finger Lake was strikingly beautiful, and if I came back, this site would be my top priority. I hope to return!

Spent two days here paddling out from EP 16. A great campsite with a nice shoreline across the lake to look at, and some nice adjoining lakes to explore. There's also a very large rock on the island, just west of this campsite, with pictographs on it.

Overall a pretty decent site - wish the kitchen was flipped so the fire grate was facing the water but thats just me. The restroom is a ways away, we spent 20min looking for it. I believe it was towards the south end of the island, remember it having a nice view of the lake!

Lovely site if you are hammocking, and a couple reasonable tent options depending on tent size.
The kitchen is great though we wished it was spun 180 degrees - why not make it face out? Granted, the view is a cliff rather than the traditional long lake view, but it's still pretty nice.

A hilly campsite hidden among the pines on a narrow island in Finger Lake. The views south west to the rest of Finger are wonderful. Excellent kitchen area with level stones to use as seating or staging for the grill.
Decent fishing near campsite during our visit.
The latrine is somewhat difficult to find but is certainly private. Watch out for poison ivy.

I agree with previous ratings. This was a great site with a southern exposure to dry gear on the large boulders along the water. Plenty of paths to do some exploring. No beach here for swimming, but might still be an option. Landing was reasonably easy. Sun rose coming up the channel creating some good pictures in the morning mist. No issues with rodents. Plenty of trees for hammocks. Also, one could find some modest protection during a storm under rock overhangs on the site. Grassy sites at the landing for storing canoes.

Great site on a beautiful island. Caught a nice walleye on the first cast from shore. Only draw backs would be that it rest high above the water and the best swimming and water retrieval area is down a steep rock face. Fire grate area also looks towards the woods rather than the lake.

A great elevated site situated in a grove of mature red pines which provide that up north feel as well as plenty of tarp & hammock options. Nice landing & fire grate area is top notch. There's even a huge boulder (just outside of camp) that has some faint pictographs on the white stripe . Tent pads aren't the greatest, but they are sufficient. Firewood was hard to come by.

A beautiful spot. Great views, good landing areas and nice logs around the kitchen.
