I first visited this site in 1985. I haven't seen any pictures of it since then, but I still remember a giant log that had fallen over the path to the latrine. I found remnants of that log on this trip. *nostalgia overdrive* Excellent swimming here. Plenty of shade, lots of seating, good places for tents and hammocks. Easy food pack hangin'. Great sunset views, morning shade (for a while, at least). Clearly a very popular site. Not too many folks go through here, though. It's worth it, at least when the water isn't low in Wagosh, Niki, Papoose, and the other little lakes and channels. Very sccenic.

Nice Flat site. Although windy, with minimal wind protection. Good tent pads. Multiple Hammock hang areas. fire pit faces a nice view. This is a very used site, having to import wood from other downed areas.

Stayed here as a one night layover heading up to Friday Bay. Really liked the site and would definately do a base camp here. Landing was fine, kitchen good and scenery was satisfactory. Didn't fish, but I know gun is a decent fishing lake.

Sucks to be out of shape, this site was after a day of slugging it out with poor cardio and 12 hours of road travel. We spent a night here. Nice site but I could have enjoyed it much better if I had not been in a fog lol.

Very scenic campsite! Very easy to land. It looks like it would have been a nice place to swim, but the water still cold at the end of May.

Open flat site in a cove. Nothing unique, sufficient for one night.

I could see where this would typically be a nice campsite but when we were there the water was very high. Almost up to the fire pit area. The area around the fire pit was very muddy. The bugs were worse than anywhere else we had been all week. I will have to try this one again in drier weather. (Although we did not have hardly any rain the week we were there!)

'the Trigger', a very nice site. Easy landing, shady, spacious and flat. Rocky point front porch is great for sunning, and sunsets. Walleyes in the gun barrel.
