The site has a small sandy area to the left that is nice for landing the canoe. Fire great is in a great location looking over Moosecamp and many old artifacts from the logging days.

Site in in red and white pines with a pine duff grove. There is a great view from the rounded rock in the front of the site. It faces west, and the breeze can keep the bugs away. Tent areas are flat and soft. The landings are difficult - slippery and jagged rocks. There is a small sandy area to land, but it is still rocky.

The artifacts at this site aren't strewn about everywhere, which I appreciated. Great view down the lake and plenty of solitude.

Nice site on a quiet lake. I was guiding a group and decided to bring them back here for an out of the way stop. Well worth it. We hiked back to tick lake from this site and paddled out the Moosecamp River (glad it was early season.) Tent pads are pretty good. The artifacts (especially the awesome pulley on the fire grate) are super cool. The canoe landing in front isn't that great, but there is a nice on in the cove.) Peace and quiet was the best part of this lake and site.

Good landing, fire grate is elevated with nice views. Grassy site with some large pines providing a nice canopy. This spot used to be an old logging camp (as evidenced by the artifacts in and around camp).

Great secluded spot. Big campsite with variety. Logging artifacts in the woods. Good fishing nearby and a good chance at seeing moose in both directions.
