The best tent pad(s) are right behind the kitchen in the grass. The other pads appear to be on an angle. A beautiful west facing site makes for great sunsets. The canoe landing is ledge rock and easy to manage. A number of balsam firs recently died around the campsite so there are a number of trees standing and dropped around the site. The fire grate is at the end of its life and needs to be replaced.

Very Nice site, about 10ft above the lake with beautiful views of the main portion of Boot. There is one excellent & very large tent pad next to the kitchen area that easily holds three tents and possibly four. There is another reasonable tent pad just south of the large one and two more in the woods to the north of the main camp area. One of the pads in the woods is good and the other is slightly sloped. There are plenty of places for hanging food, a tarp, clothes line, etc. The kitchen is a bit small, but nice seating, flat rocks for cooking and faces the lake, providing a beautiful view of sunsets. The landing is easy with room to land two canoes at the same time. The site is exposed to a west wind, but during our visit the wind was north, south or east so there was no noticeable wind at the site when we were there. The latrine is secluded and well kept though it is a bit close to the camp. Gentle rock slopes down to the landing area that were great for star gazing. Did not see an obvious swimming area.
