Stayed 4 nights on this site as our base camp. The site is great and big with plenty of room to spread out. We had a group of 8 of us with 4 - 3man tents. We put two closer to the kitchen area and found a couple more spots up on the hill away from the main camp, which worked out perfect. There were a couple other options that would have worked as well, so I'll say room for 5 tents if you don't mind spreading out a bit and getting creative. Caught a few eater walleye from shore, and some monster sunfish. If you have a big group this is the best site on the lake that we saw.

This site was perfect for everything that we needed. The landing is pretty much anywhere you want - there are flat rocks all around to park the canoe. The kitchen is on a rock point and has a great view. It gets a breeze to keep the bugs away. There is one really good tent pad. The other two are right next to it. We had to set up the tents right next to each other. There are several good hammocking options. The only downside would be that there are two campsites close by across the bay, but they were unoccupied when we were there. In fact, we hardly saw anyone on this end of the lake.

It's a nice site if Fourtown isn't full, but there is no privacy from the sites across the lake to the north. It has a nice view of the sunset. There isn't much protection for the kitchen area, but plenty of places to explore around the site, or even back in the woods a bit. We tried going back in 2022, but it was taken, requiring a return to a camp site near the burned area close to the Boot Lake portage. There are plenty of big rock faces if you need to dry stuff out.

Wonderful site. decent landings, slightly sloping tent pads. The site lacks some privacy since there is a clear view of the sites to the north.
Great swimming and exploring, decent fishing.

Good landing, nice large pine duffed site w/good views. Close to river & another site, so nearby traffic could be an issue.

Very NICE campsite. I would rate it 5 stars if it had better tent pads, and a little sand for a beach. The tent pads that we found are extremely close together. We ended up putting 3 3-man tents end to end on this site, and with that, they barely fit. Other than the tent pads, most everything else was pretty good. There was minimal trash around the camp. Fishing was good from shore, and the Canoe landings were more than adequate. No serious widow makers.
