Protected red pine grove. Nice sandy landing on south/east side around the point. Fire pit is high up among the pines. I visited during June, and there were a lot of mosquitoes - it was too protected, so breezes were blocked. There are lots of tent pads and tons of hammock options.

Great campsite here. A little close to the the site to the South, but this one has lots of space and great trees for hanging hammocks. We had a little trouble setting up our tarp over the fire area because the trees were pretty far spaced apart in this area. Had a visit from a deer a few times. Fishing wasn't any good around camp. Called this one "The U.S.S. Grant" for obvious reasons.

This campsite is more of a portage than a site. If you go during the busy season, people will be walking right through your fire pit to get to fourtown.

Nice Campsite. The canoe landings were not the best, and the firepit was subpar. Other than that, the site had fantastic, fantastic pads, and lots of space.

Excellent campsite! Sort of two-tier with lots of open space under the pines on the lower tier and the upper holds the fire pit. Perfect for several hammock campers. Fire pit has been built up with stones to form a reflector. There was event cut wood under a little pice of scrap metal to keep it dry. Great view, landing, and low mosquitos.
