This is the worst site I have used in the BWCA. Ratings are totally misleading. Fire pit area has had tree failures and is completely open to the sun. We found it very unkept with debris everywhere. The best tent pad was not level. The only thing nice about this site is it’s landing and view.

With the best sites already taken on Fourtown by 1pm, we took this one as a fallback option. It was better than expected. Definitely rough around the edges. Some fallen and near-fallen trees to avoid. But still decent. We squeezed in 4 tents. The fire ring had some nice rocks set up for seating. A good place for my hammock. And a large enough opening to catch the breeze.

Pretty sure we stayed at this campsite on Thursday. We came from the portage that crosses campsite #1106, heading south, and passed two campsites on the shore before reaching this one.
There is a latrine and a fire grate here, as well as plenty of rock furniture. To the west is a tent pad in the woods, and the path continues to the next campsite. To the east is another tent pad, and that path continues to a clandestine fire pit, then further along the shore and up the hill, where blueberries can be found.
Biggest drawback is the number of dead or dying trees in camp. There's a big one fallen across the back of the campsite. There's a few iffy trees by possible tent locations that are still standing but look sickly.
Also, campsite #1111 across the bay is visible from the kitchen.
