This was a decent campsite with pros/cons. Pros: There are two tent pad areas that are inside the campsite away from the rocky entrance. They are smaller and slightly sloped but were not uncomfortable. They are also separate from each other so that is a plus for privacy. There are two trails that join up at the top of the hill that are fun to hike and get great views for pictures. The latrine is clean and private. Water access for drinking is easy and the water on Tin Can Mike is incredibly clear which was a nice surprise. Cons: There is a potential 3rd sleeping pad just outside the firepit area but it's on the rock and exposed to the wind with no tree coverage. The firepit area can be incredibly windy. Make sure to bring your canoe(s) higher onto the rock entrance as far up as possible. The latrine was hard to find. When entering the site from porting, its on the right down the giant rock entrance. It can be slippery walking down but once you make it down to the foot path its just straight down. I would say the worst con is how close this site is to the Horse Lake portage. You can hear people entering/leaving the lake and large groups are pretty disruptive.
