Nice campsite with a great kitchen area. Nice rocks to lay out on and look at the sky. Also one of the best tree limbs for hanging your bear bag. Some of the tent sites were a bit tight and rocky - but I've def stayed on worse. Really easy parking but there are some rocks to look out for.

Pretty decent site with ok landing and good path up to the site from the water. 3-4 tent pads including a "honeymoon suite" off by itself. The honeymoon suite is at the base of a 10-15 foot rock hill so water could be a problem. Other tent pads looked like that would not be a problem. We were able to get two hammocks up but that is about the max. Several dead spruce at the site. Fire grate with a great view to the south and east.

Nice enough spot on the Kawish if you can't get any of the three better spots further down and to your right if coming from EP 29 (East/North East). 2 of the tent sites are level and just fine. The latrine was fine. Didn't smell.
This spot is kind of confined and not one I'd want for a base camp, but for one night served it's purpose.
The one warning is critters. They don't bother us and add to the fun with kids. But this site has LOTS of mice!! You need to keep your food picked up because they are trying to get in everything. There were tons of chipmunks and squirrels too. AND a rabbit that was rather friendly and in camp a lot.
