Nothing special but was a good place to spend the night after a long rainy day and just finishing the 200 rod portage. Might be busy during the summer months as it is pretty close to the portage.

We enjoyed this campsite for three nights. One afternoon we saw a lot of traffic but the other two days only one group passed by. Decent landing on the flat rock around the side. Elevated camp with an easterly view. There are two spots for tents, one of them could hold two smaller tents and the other fits one medium-sized tent. We hung a tarp and just fine. The latrine is close - you can glimpse it from very near the firepit. Blueberries were present in camp and nearby. The firepit is exposed but caught a decent breeze to keep the bugs at bay. It is close to the portage so you see and hear everyone coming and going. For our small group of three people, it was a good site. If you need more room, the nearby site is basically bigger, more elevated, has more tent pads, and is not as close to the portage but you still see everyone passing.
