Another fantastic site. It's on a peninsula. You can fish off this campsite all around it. We had some luck on the northwest side of the campsite. There are some great rocks you can perch a chair on a cast into the water. It had two great tent pads. We only needed one. We had three hammock campers, which it accommodated greatly. We could have even added another hammock camper.
The only gripe is that the common area/fire grate area is very open and susceptible to high winds and sun. We used a tarp to help block the wind to play cards, as well as get out of the sun. Oh, also, there are a lot of roots and rocks (tripping hazards) in the common area of this site.
Overall, great campsite. Not a 5, but definitely a 4. Would stay again for sure.

Glad to find this site open on our first day out, after a paddle from Farm Lake. You can hear other parties on the island. Easy landing, on a peninsula with views on all sides. Beautiful sunset. Nice, flat tent pad - we only needed one.

Good Campsite, with good seating, A little more open to the west than I would care for in the spring fall, but it would leave a nice breeze for the buggy months. Latrine was starting to get full, but was a good distance away from camp and no smell was present. The water was low during our trip so the landings left something to be desired. Several mice were present, so you need to make sure you keep camp pick up at night or they will get into things. Fishing from camp was just ok, a few good blue gill, and a couple small mouth was all we got. Flat camp spots were easy to find and those were protected more by the wind than the fire grate. Good view of the stars by the grate given the lack of trees and good view of sunsets.

Nice site. As already stated, heavily used site. Plenty of hammock trees and very easy tarp set-up. There was a ridge line going across the entire site when we arrived.

Nice, well used site. Good landing, several tent pads, would work for a large group. Fire grate overlooks bay to the north, large rock separates common area from the tents. nice area for tarp. Fishing from camp was ok, but good fishing for smallmouth and walleye in the area. Lots of Bald Eagles and Buzzards in the area. If it wasn't worn from use, I might rate it higher.
