This is a fine enough site right near the Carol portage. It's pretty open at the front with a few pines for shade. It's in ear shot of the Kawishiwi rapids across the bay. Other than through traffic, this campsite has this back bay of Insula to itself. It obviously sees some use with erosion on the front side of the site. I wouldn't seek this one out, but it's nice enough.
