This site is well overused and abused. While it did provide us with decent hammock hangs for two both would have been much less comfortable with any westerly wind as there is little cover unless you move up slope next to the latrine. There is a large glacial erratic and the sunset view was good.
Unfortunately, the area around and above the fire grate, which itself is uncomfortably exposed, has been stomped to bits. The trees have had branches cut and spikes/stakes hammered into them, likely in an attempt to provide some tarp coverage across the open expanse at the core of the site. It would be a wonderful site but it's too heavily impacted and the construction of camp furniture just emphasizes how overused the camp is to my mind.

Great West-facing sunset views at this site. It's a very nice site for a small group (1 or 2 tents) but won't work for larger groups. Nice kitchen area with a great table built for a stove. Okay sitting area around the fire grate. Another lovely low table right next to the water for eating, playing cards, fixing stuff, etc. One nice, medium to large tent pad up in the site, we put our other tent right on the gentle sloping slab going into the water and loved being lakeside. Wouldn't work well in a strong West wind though.
