Still some blowdowns, but not that bad, a lot of berries around the site. Tent pad is limited however, but there are a good amount hammock spots. The site can be really windy in the afternoon which mean less bugs, but can be cold at night.

Decent site, but tons of blowdown, including a large tree above the main tent pad, held up by numerous large trees. It should be taken down IMO. Fire grate was moved back at some point long ago from a spot further out on the west rock face. The fire area is quite exposed to wind. Mosquitoes were a 90 minute nightmare between 8:30 and 10pm in June, having to be constantly moving in order not to get bitten by dozens! Probably wouldn't stay here again but if it was windy/stormy and I needed a site, this would do. If the trees above the main tent pad were cleared, I'd put this at a solid 3.

Great site with excellent views and nice tent spots. LOTS of blown down trees though. A few that might fall further, so watch where you place your tents.

This was a favorite spot despite being very hard rocky ground to sleep on. When visiting after the blowndown in 2016 this was hit harder than anywhere else I'd seen the duration of the trip. Its dense collection of huge trees was reduced to a pile of toothpicks. Not sure what you could expect going there now. But I wouldn't expect anything more than firewood.
