It is a good site. The 5* site across the lake was taken when we were there. Would have stayed two or three nights at this site, if we had more time. It is a BEAUTIFUL lake!!! We had great weather while here. Good fire grate. Our tent pad was great. There is room for more than one tent. We just don't remember the details. Landing was easy enough. Trees to hang food pack. Decent toilet area. Fishing from shore was difficult at best. Not a lot of trails leading away from site. There is a little island just offshore to the north of the site. Looks like it would be great to fish from there. Lots of surface action at sunset. All in all a great site if the 5* is taken.

Elevated location. Limited landing opportunities, I used one on the South end of the site. Kitchen area was exposed to West winds, as were the tent pads. Several trees were suitable for hammocks. A bit swampy off to the south. No swimming or exploring opportunities as far as I could see.

this site had 3 tent pads and all three of them are rocky and slanted. I will note that the national forest service was on the lake when we were leaving and said they would be making fixes. camp fire was facing the woods... ok seating.
