The campsite is high above Ahsub lake with commanding views of the water and surrounding landscape. The kitchen area is at the front of the site, overlooking the lake with the tent pads in the middle and back. The pads were free of rocks and roots and dry during our stay. A newer landing and path up to the site made the hike up much easier than having to scale the rock face directly down from the site.

Cool site way up off the water. The tent pads were both collecting water when we stopped here for lunch. We had more mileage to cover the day we were here, but we definitely would have stayed otherwise.

Outstanding views of Ahsub lake from this site. Good kitchen area and tent sites. HIke up to the site is steep but the view is certainly worth it imo.

Spent 3 nights at this wonderful campsite over looking the lake. It rained two days and we were glad this campsite was high and dry. Short and safe walk to latrine. Good trees for bear barrel hanging. Close to hiking trail and blowdown that there was plenty of available firewood. Lots of smaller animals at this site so keep food covered and packed tight.

Very neat site, on a unique lake with high cliffs. Decent trek up to the site, beautiful views from above!

Great site, the only neg. is that you have to walk up a steep incline to get to it. Great View!

This is a very nice site, high off the water with an excellent view.
