Landing is along gravel and stony beach and may be too shallow for alongside loading. Because there is little canoe storage, they have to be carried up to the clearing. Choose the constructed rock steps for erosion control for bringing canoes and gear uphill to the huge open clearing. The kitchen is in the middle in full sun, although there is tree screening to block most winds. They also block the view, and do not offer good pack hanging or hammock options. Multiple tents can be pitched in the grassy clearing, but the best site is in an alcove behind the clearing. There are trails in both directions along lakeshore with the left trail offering additional tent pads.

The top of a small hill is a wide open area with kitchen and a large grassy area. Only one log near the fire grate so the kitchen area needs work. The landing was small with sharp rocks so you have to carry your canoes up the hill for the night.

This campsite has a lot of potential, but has clearly been misused in the (recent) past. Someone had cut down a birch tree in the middle of camp and stacked up all the green wood they could collect from it by the fire grate (thanks a lot). The rest of the trees had been used and abused with hammock straps and/or unattended kids, with bark missing from the bottom 5 feet of most of them. The landing is a little rough, but full of great skipping rocks. Had some bites fishing, but nothing to write home about. There appears to be a trail leading to the other two sites on this side of the lake.

Nice campsite. Had been trashed by someone previous. Lots of partially empty food containers, rotting fish and other garbage strewn in trees next to camp.

Climb up the hill to the site. Trees mostly block the view of the lake. The landing consists of sharp rocks, so be careful. There is a small grassy area that you can put a tent or two on.

Nice camping area, plenty of room. Boat landing is not too good. Not much room to store canoes. Must climb up hill to get to nice a very nice campsite.
