We decided not to stay here, as the site had both little shade, nor a good view (ironically, blocked by trees). There is a nice flat rock next to the fire grate. There are much better sites on Knife Lake. I can see how someone could have a nice time at this site if it were overcast, but it was too hot and sunny this year for this to be more than a "3." The take-out is easy, but not as good swimming as some nearby sites.

Good, spacious site. Nicely vegetated which shelters somewhat from wind, but makes it a bit buggy. Landing decent. Campsite a few feet up from landing.

This site was one of three campsites along our path marked by our outfitter as a high recommendation for us to stay at if available. Coincidently this was the first site that was even open/available to us between Sucker Lake and Knife Lake.
Absolutely lovely campsite. There are three main areas for tent pads. One smaller tent pad was surrounded by small dense brush. One larger tent pad that was perfect for setting up multiple hammocks. and a third tent pad area that was a little larger that lent itself well to settign up a rain fly for a kitchen area relativly close to the fire pit.
The campsite is slightly elevated giving a lovely view of the lake but is obscured by a tree line. This was actually helpful as a wind/rain break as our first two days at this site was windy and rainy.
The only challenge we had with this site was finding a easy spot to hang your food. We ended up resorting to tying down and hiding our food pack in a huge dense brushy bush in the center of the camp.
