After a cold, wet, miserable paddle in for the group, folks were just happy to pull into a campsite. This was not the cream of the crop, but it did for us for a night. Not much view of the lake and the camp kitchen is small. Add on top of that a very public BIFF and this site isn't deserving of much praise, but it did fit our group of 9 for a night and it is on Knife.

Felt like the worst campsite in the BWCA, and the only one we didn't enjoy and just wanted to leave as soon as possible (but it was the only one available late on a windy rainy day). Campsite is set back from the lake. Effectively no beach nor lake view. Horrible mosquitoes. Kitchen area has been vandalized and isn't really usable. Some trees were also vandalized, cut down, and/or de-barked.

Camped here only because all other sites in the area occupied, and had been rained on all day. No view and buggy.

Low site back in the trees. It has a small sandy/gravel landing. The path up to the site is a decent length. Not much of a view from the campsite - mostly just the woods around the site. Because it is low and back in the woods, bugs can be a big issue - deer flies were everywhere when I visited.
