One of the worst campsites I have seen. It seemed to be completely mud. It reminded me of a muddy portage landing - including a bog walk to get to the latrine. Of course, with all the mud comes bugs. The only good thing I can say about the site is the landing was nice.

No rock at all at landing--just shallow gravel with grass extending up to including whole clearing. Two canoes can nose-in at same time, or loading can be done alongside. There is an alternative landing around point. Lots of canoe storage available. Clearing is quite open, and grassy duff can be muddy as mentioned by other reviewers. The fire grate is exposed to north wind, and had two log seating. One of the logs was shaved level--a nice amenity. Tent sites need to be evaluated for rain issues. There is a big site that could hold 2 to right of kitchen. There is a more private site on trail to alternate landing. Several tents could be pitched in the clearing if conditions allow. There are good tarp rigging trees, but no obvious pack hanging ones. This is not an attractive or popular site.

Small campsite and very average (but better than anything else around there! some of the other ones in birch are so bad you just start laughing when you pull up). Unlike other comments below it wasn't muddy and allowed us to get 2 tents up(4p and 6p). good landing spot for canoes. Tree coverage is more dense so more bugs than a site that is more open to the wind.

Site is very wet. Site had lots of trash and only one tree for a bench when we arrived. Limited good fire wood. Kitchen was a mess, someone move the rocks all over the camp. We had some down time here waiting for our tow out and fixed the place up adding a second tree for good sitting bench and fixed up the kitchen. We took all the trash out.
