A nice site for the burn area. Pushing for S Wilder, we ended up on this site after discovering the creek to the south was locked up with ice. A few trees survived the fire on the rocky point that sheltered the site and served as a small but welcome windbreak. Grassy tent pads, a fair camp kitchen, and a small gravel landing made for a nice spot to spend the night. I made tea with wild rose hips and dry raspberry leaves found on the edges; I'd imagine this site would be rather pretty in the summer.

Considering it's in the burn area, this was a really nice site. Our chosen route froze up so we were forced to stay on Hudson. We chose this site. It has a pretty decent camp kitchen and a really beautiful rock point that helped keep our tent from the wind. I would stay here again.

No shade anywhere due to the fire. Primary grate area of site is overgrown, lots of grass and wildflowers. Small rocky peninsula looking southwest. Not really a very good site but very pretty, and we really enjoyed it. Only workable for small groups.

Stayed here one night. Due to the fire damage, there was no shade and it appeared that nobody had stayed here for some time. The fishing was decent in the bay to the north of the site, and lots of wildflowers on the walk to the latrine.
