Beautiful location. Decent traffic, but not ridiculous.
Island Site with a 180 degree view to the NE. nice daytrips with-in reach. Good fishing on this end of the lake.

Pretty wide open is all I can say. Seems to get decent traffic and most group moving further into the BW are passing pretty close to this site. Otherwise, it's not bad.

We passed on this site without even landing the canoe. Wide open site with no cover at all, and therefore nowhere to hang the tarp, and it was threatening rain.

One of the best "kitchen" and fire pit areas I have seen. Only downfall is there is not shade around the main part of the camp so it got hot during the day. There is one good tent pad with another that works for smaller tents. Not many trees around to hang your food packs. We ended up bringing out packs to the southern side of the island where there are some large pines (There is a trail out of camp that goes back there). Good landing and swimming areas.

Incredibly easy to get into with two great tent pad areas near the campfire. They're a little exposed in the wind - one of our days we were tentbound and couldn't manage to keep a fire lit.

Might have been a nice site at one time. A large pine had fallen and was blocking off some of the site. No shade and marginal tent pads. Found a few trees on the North side to hang or hammocks.
