Great site a little off the main travel route on Disappointment. Landing is a small gravel area with a rock shelf that makes for easy loading/unloading (unless the rocks are wet, then it is slippery). Kitchen has a good view of the lake. It also has some good tables and benches. Tenting and tarping area is fairly level. There are a couple of tent pads behind the kitchen. We used one for our tarp. Another good tent pad is down a path to the south. The most level tent pad is to the north, but we opted not to use it since there are a couple of dead trees near it (so I did not call it a "good" tent pad). Plenty of hammocking options. Water is very shallow immediately in front of the site, but it drops off a little ways out. We caught a bunch of very small smallmouth from shore. There appeared to be a better fishing spot along the north shore, but we did not try it out. I am pretty stingy with my 5-star ratings, but this one came close.

This is a large site, particularly for a non-beach camp. A lot of the forest has been opened up and I imagine it's a destination site for larger groups heading out of Snowbank to basecamp. People clearly spend time here without a lot to occupy themselves with other than hacking branches off living trees or straight up cutting them down and leaving them to die. This is all the more ridiculous as the path to the latrine reveals an area where a dozen or more trees were blown down providing a mass of potential firewood just a half minute away.
There are nice flat pads and an array of hammock options. One spot south of the central area of the site, between two large pines and close to shore but a bit sheltered, would fit a hammock suited for Andre the Giant. This site is worth staying at but it's also an example of the way we abuse our privileges when visiting this wilderness. It's accommodating but maybe it needs to learn how to set boundaries and say "no."
The landing was easy, particularly on the south side. Unfortunately, there was a significant amount of cooked rice tossed into the water a day or two before we arrived so I guess that's a thing too.
This site needs time off to go on a vacation and get away from people.

One big tent pad, we are able to pitch a 6p tent with extra. One or two small pads for a double tent is also available. If you go north through the woods, you will see a giant tree fall into the ground.

Landing, kitchen, tent sites and view are all excellent. Of the camps I saw on Disappointment Lake this was clearly the best. I can't comment on trees for hanging a pack as I use a barrel instead, but other than the fact that it is somewhat closed up, which could be bad in buggy times, I'm sold.

Avg size site, good for tarps, a couple of level tent pads, good landing. The highlight of our trip was having a bear in camp here.
