I would rate this as a 1 star, but the rock at the edge of the campsite redeems it. There's a nice higher ledge for sitting and enjoying the view, and a lower ledge for swimming/sitting. The rest of the campsite looks like it's been abandoned. Leaves and plants all over the tent sites, but it did provide for plenty of access to firewood. Tent sites are slightly sloped but you can make it work. Worst case, the rock shelf mentioned could probably be used for a tent site.

I had a tough time rating this campsite. It is unique. I would have rated it higher, but I thought it had more in common with the sites that I rate as 2 stars. So... to be consistent, I rated it a 2-star site. The rock in front of the site has a "shelf" that is low to the water that can be used for fishing or swimming. The site is small and has not been used in a while. Landing is cramped. You can walk to the western bay easily through the woods. The western bay (there is a campsite in that bay, too) is shallow. There is a tent pad area. The main tent pad area is not completely level. However, there is a small area towards the rear of the tent pad that is level. Much smaller than the main tent pad area, though.
