Could not find this site in July 2022. It is very low to the water on the map, and the spring 2022 water and ice level was much higher than we observed (based on marks on trees). Trees were toppled and there was no obvious tent pad, grate, or latrine. Very buggy, though everything was while we were there. Might have been destroyed.

This is a seldom used site in a quiet portion of Lac Lacroix. The landing spot for this one is a little hard to find but its a decent landing. The fire pit in the woods a bit and you don't get a great view of the lake from the fire pit. There are some slabby shoreline rocks to hang out on and fish. I've stayed here twice and both times caught smallmouth in the bay on the north side of the site. There is tons of firewood here as it seems seldom used. I cleared the path to the latrine and sawed up a deadfall that was on the privy. The log seat rotted out and collapsed so i found a fresher deadfall to replace it. Seating space here is just one small log seat this is a very small site! The one good tent pad could fit a 2 or 3 person tent. Possibly more spots deeper in the woods. Bugs were bad both times I stayed here. Overall i'd say skip it. I stayed here for the second time as i was windbound facing 3 footers at the NE point of the american side of Lac La Croix. Plenty of better spots but not the worst ive seen!
